Description

The Canon EOS R is Canon’s first full frame mirrorless camera that uses the RF mount.

Pros:

  • Single point autofocusing is great
  • Battery life is good
  • Smaller and lighter than a DSLR
  • Good ergonomics

Cons:

  • Image stabilization for movies only
  • Sometimes face autofocus will lose focus
  • Many reviewers do not like the Multi function Touch Bar -  takes some getting used to, sometimes may not work, is useless, etc.
  • Audio input jack is on the same side as the articulating screen so the audio cord may get in the way of the screen movement.
  • Cropped 4K video
  • Less dedicated buttons than "pro" bodies and no joystick.
