The Canon EOS R is Canon’s first full frame mirrorless camera that uses the RF mount.
Pros:
- Single point autofocusing is great
- Battery life is good
- Smaller and lighter than a DSLR
- Good ergonomics
Cons:
- Image stabilization for movies only
- Sometimes face autofocus will lose focus
- Many reviewers do not like the Multi function Touch Bar - Â takes some getting used to, sometimes may not work, is useless, etc.
- Audio input jack is on the same side as the articulating screen so the audio cord may get in the way of the screen movement.
- Cropped 4K video
- Less dedicated buttons than "pro" bodies and no joystick.
