Description
The Fujifilm X-T200 is designed to be an everyday general use camera. It's lightweight and portable so that you can always have it within reach.
The X-T200 is a great entry level camera since it has many features to help simplify taking creative photos. But once you begin to learn more about photography and videographer, the X-T200 has also got you covered. For example, start out by using the depth of field feature to easily blur or sharpen the background. Then once you learn about aperture settings, the X-T200 allows you to adjust the aperture manually to see how it's actually the aperture that is controlling the depth of field.
The Fujifilm X-T200 may be hard to find as it's reportedly been discontinued just 9 months after its release.
Pros:
- Interesting self timer features. The camera can wait until it detects a subject facing the camera, or if a smile is detected, or waits until it detects a specified number of people in front of the camera.
- Includes a light trail mode to simplify long exposure pictures without having to know about shutter speed settings.
- Includes portrait enhancer to smooth skin tones
- There's an easy depth of field button to blur or sharpen the background without having to know things like aperture settings.
- Good variangle LCD screen for low angle, high angle, and selfie shots.
Cons:
- Lacks in camera focus bracketing that many other Fujifilm cameras offer.
- Not as customizable: No separate settings for movie versus still photos as far as things like film simulations, white balance, color, etc.
- Lacks zebra overlay to highlight overexposed areas.
- Can't do back button focus. Can't assign AF-ON to a button. However, you can assign AF-Lock or AE-Lock to a button.
- A few reviewers mention that the camera frequently overheats when recording video.
- Only shoots a max of 15 minutes of 4K video.
