Description

The Olympus OM-D E-M5 III is one of the few mirrorless cameras that is advertised as being weatherproof. And with its smaller size, the Olympus OM-D E-M5 III is a great travel camera candidate.

Another feature not commonly seen is in camera focus stacking. Note that this feature is only compatible with select M.ZUIKO lenses.

Its 5 axis in body image stabilization is another feature that makes the Olympus OM-D E-M5 III stand out.

Available in black or silver models.

Pros:

  • Weather sealed
  • 5 axis in body image stabilization
  • Autofocus is good.
  • High Res shot feature lets you shoot at resolutions higher than that of the image sensor by taking a series of shots.
  • Includes Keystone correction and perspective control

Cons:

  • Plastic body may wear over time - The  OM-D EM-1 Mark II may be worth considering due to it's magnesium body.
  • May not be able to tether to a computer via the Olympus Capture software
